Need to pass OET for professional registration or career progression? Our 1-week Intensive OET Preparation Course is a focused, face-to-face programme designed for healthcare professionals who want fast progress, clear exam strategies, and expert feedback. Live Language is a British Council–accredited language school and an OET Premium Preparation Provider. You’ll study in small groups with experienced teachers who understand exactly what the OET examiners are looking for — so you can improve your performance, not just “practise more”. What’s included (all skills + exam technique): Listening: consultation-style practice, note-taking, question types, timing Reading: Part A speed strategies + Parts B/C accuracy and exam approach Writing: letter structure, purpose, tone, grammar and task fulfilment (with feedback) Speaking: role-plays to build confidence, clarity, and appropriate clinical language Mock tests: timed practice under exam conditions, with clear improvement targets A key advantage: you prepare in a professional exam-style environment — and you can sit your OET test in the same building where you studied, helping reduce stress and boost confidence on test day. Entry Requirements: You must be 21+, be a qualified healthcare professional (or studying to be one), and have a minimum B1 level of English. Materials We give you all the materials you need during this course, but please check the Resources page on our website (Student Life) if you would like to buy materials. This course: starts 4th May 2026 to 8th May 2026 Next Course starts: 31st August 2026 Times: from 9.30am - 2.30pm, Monday to Friday This course does not include your exam fee, you can book your exam on the OET website. For all NEW STUDENTS, please add the Registration Fee when registering below. Live Language Ltd Terms and Conditions (Foreign Language Courses) Acceptance: By using the services provided by Live Language, you agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by, and to comply with, these Terms and Conditions. Definition of the Actors involved in these Conditions: The term 'company' means Live Language or Live-Language.com. The term 'The client' means the person in whose name the booking is made and shall include the person or persons on whose behalf the same is made. 'Force Majeure' shall mean any event outside the company's control which prevents the prompt performance of its obligations. COURSES: · Live Language has the right to cancel any class which has not met minimal class number criteria · There will be a maximum of 12 students in Live Language group classes, and a minimum of 4 students. · All courses should be completed within the agreed and specified time. ATTITUDE: All students are expected to behave with a responsible attitude and treat fellow students, staff and school property with respect. Ignoring school guidelines may result in expulsion without a refund of course fees. ABSENCE: Student absence, for whatever reason, will not be rewarded by any amount of extension for the course or refund. MATERIALS: · Live Language advises that all students buy a textbook; students must provide their own stationery. · Course materials, examination fees, and the cost of activities and excursions are not included except where specifically stated. FEES: · Fees are paid in Sterling (GBP) at the time of payment. · On some occasions, reduced rates are given for longer courses. If these courses are curtailed for any reason, the student will be re-invoiced at the higher rate. · Cancellations of Private/Semi-Private lessons less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will be charged for a full lesson. · If a student cancels their booking after the course has started, a refund will not be offered. CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF LESSONS: Cancellation or postponement of private lessons must be made in writing and within office hours at least 24 hours in advance of the lesson’s start time. The booked lesson fee will be charged if Live Language is not given such notice
