This 10-week online IELTS course is designed for students who want clear strategies, focused practice, and the confidence to give examiners exactly what they’re looking for. You’ll study in a small online group (max. 14 students) to maximise student–teacher interaction. That means more speaking time, more personalised feedback, and more chances to ask questions and fix mistakes quickly. How the course works • Live class: 2 hours per week online with your teacher • Guided self-study: 6 hours per week (tasks, practice, and skills building) • Duration: 10 weeks What you’ll learn This course focuses on the strategy of passing IELTS, not just doing random practice tests. You’ll build the skills and exam awareness needed to improve your performance across all parts of the exam. You will: 1. Build your IELTS vocabulary in a practical way (topic vocabulary, collocations, and high-frequency academic language) 2. Learn the different question types in the exam and how to approach each one efficiently 3. Understand assessment criteria and how to meet them (so you can produce what examiners reward) 4. Develop time-saving techniques and avoid common mistakes that keep students stuck at the same score Full coverage of all IELTS sub-tests Over the 10 weeks, we will work on every part of the exam: • Speaking: fluency, coherence, pronunciation, and strong answers for Parts 1–3 • Listening: question-type strategies, prediction, and accuracy under time pressure • Reading: skimming/scanning, managing time, and handling tricky question formats • Writing: structure, task response, coherence, and language accuracy for Task 1 and Task 2 Who it’s for This course is ideal if you: • are currently around IELTS 5.5 / B1+ / Intermediate+ level • want a higher score for study, work, or visa purposes • need a clear plan, consistent practice, and expert feedback By the end of the course, you’ll have a stronger strategy, better language control, and a clear understanding of how to perform in the exam with confidence. Live Language Ltd Terms and Conditions (Foreign Language Courses) Acceptance: By using the services provided by Live Language, you agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by, and to comply with, these Terms and Conditions. Definition of the Actors involved in these Conditions: The term 'company' means Live Language or Live-Language.com. The term 'The client' means the person in whose name the booking is made and shall include the person or persons on whose behalf the same is made. 'Force Majeure' shall mean any event outside the company's control which prevents the prompt performance of its obligations. COURSES: · Live Language has the right to cancel any class which has not met minimal class number criteria · There will be a maximum of 12 students in Live Language group classes, and a minimum of 4 students. · All courses should be completed within the agreed and specified time. ATTITUDE: All students are expected to behave with a responsible attitude and treat fellow students, staff and school property with respect. Ignoring school guidelines may result in expulsion without a refund of course fees. ABSENCE: Student absence, for whatever reason, will not be rewarded by any amount of extension for the course or refund. MATERIALS: · Live Language advises that all students buy a textbook; students must provide their own stationery. · Course materials, examination fees, and the cost of activities and excursions are not included except where specifically stated. FEES: · Fees are paid in Sterling (GBP) at the time of payment. · On some occasions, reduced rates are given for longer courses. If these courses are curtailed for any reason, the student will be re-invoiced at the higher rate. · Cancellations of Private/Semi-Private lessons less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will be charged for a full lesson. · If a student cancels their booking after the course has started, a refund will not be offered. CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF LESSONS: Cancellation or postponement of private lessons must be made in writing and within office hours at least 24 hours in advance of the lesson’s start time. The booked lesson fee will be charged if Live Language is not given such notice
