If you are a full time student, you can register with a local doctor (GP). The doctor must be close to your home. The school can give you a letter to confirm that you are a student at the school. You are advised to register with a doctor soon after your arrival in Glasgow.
Emergency healthcare is free, You can visit the emergency department of most hospitals, or call NHS 24 on 08454 242424 who can give advice by telephone if you are feeling unwell.
In the case of emergencies, the nearest Accident and Emergency Hospital to the school is the Western Infirmary.
The school First Aid box is kept at Reception on the ground floor of the school building.
If you miss classes due to being unwell, please complete an absence slip on your return to the school. If you are absent for three days or more, you must contact the school to tell them that you are absent. If you miss classes for one week or more, then the school requires a medical certificate from your doctor.
