The National Qualification Access 3 and Intermediate 1 in transactional French/Spanish will enable learners to survive comfortably in French/Spanish speaking countries. These qualifications are part of the Scottish Credit & Qualifications Framework (SCQF) in order to “help people of all ages and circumstances to access appropriate education and training over their lifetime to fulfill their personal, social and economic potential.”
Topics that are assessed throughout the course include; shopping, eating out, travel and accommodation. Each lesson will combine language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation are developed in a way that focuses on communication to native speakers of the language.
