Live Language English School in Glasgow offers host provider accommodation throughout the year for students aged 16 or over. Students can live with a host and their family while they study English. It is a great way to improve your English and also learn about Scottish culture. All our hosts live around Glasgow, within 1 hour travel time to the school.
Live Language staff arrange all of our homestay accommodation, and this means our staff get to know our students prior to their arrival and are able to offer assistance throughout their stay. It is important to us and our students that we match students needs with homestay families. All our host providers are inspected regularly.
The homestay weeks runs from Sunday to Sunday, although additional nights are available on request.
Live Language offer different types of homestay accommodation.
Standard Homestay - Bed & Breakfast and evening meal - £150 per week Students may be sharing a room with one other person of the same sex, but with a different mother tongue. Pay for your homestay in September and receive it at the reduced rate of £130 for up to 9 months! To receive this discount, lessons must be paid for in September and used by the end of May the following year.
Executive Homestay - Superior Bed & Breakfast with private room, evening meal and private bathroom - £230 per week
Self Catering Homestay - room only - from £95 per week. Students may be sharing a room with one other person of the same sex, but a different mother tongue. Here, you live with a homestay host but you cook and provide your own meals.
If you are interested in booking homestay accommodation, the school requires payment at least 2 weeks before arrival. Once payment has been received, we will issue details of the homestay family to the student. All our hosts live around Glasgow, within 1 hour travel time to the school.
